Along a grueling trail within Shenandoah National Park, I reach an overlook. Exhausted with camera & tripod in hand I observe the majestic scene before me to my right which made my physical pain irrelevant. I then look over to my left to scan the full area & witness this wonderfully photogenic scene of two men conversing cliffside as a single crow flew amongst them. I quickly aim my camera & snap several shots in attempt to capture the grandeur my eyes perceived & managed to achieve creating this photograph: a piece of artwork amongst my favorite of all time for its powerful storytelling ability.
