The first year’s day of 2023 gave me the enticing idea to visit Great Falls State Park through its unusually warm weather. I spent hours enjoying the landscape walking around all parts of the park. The last few minutes brought me to this scene along the falls’ top. I was taking in the last few visuals of the scene not intending to create a photograph, but simply to be one with what I observed. All of a sudden, I noticed this incredible alignment of the sun sets light illuminating the bare tree line, an elegant cloud formation, & the moon brilliantly working together in harmony. These extremely rare moments when each element of earth, water, air, fire, & space are displayed this profoundly at once is something I have only been able to capture once through my camera as my photography instincts took over to snap this image.
